Rick Hendrick Chevrolet participated in the Coastal Carolina Corvette Show on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Tanger Outlet. The show was well attended with over 120 corvettes on display and a few other makes.On display by Rick Hendrick Chevrolet was the ZR1, a sleek blue edition with 628 bhp @ 6500 rpm's. Other features include, but not limited to:

- 20-spoke chrome aluminum wheels
- Air filtration system
- Cargo area
- Driver information instrumentation
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel with sound system controls
- Engine is a 6.2L supercharged LS9 V8 with SFI
- Dual mode, aluminized stainless steel exhaust system
- Magnetic selective ride control suspension system and;
- ZR1 Performance package that includes power steering, engine oil, axle and transmission coolers, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, magnetic selective ride control, brembo brakes with 6-piston front and rear cross-drilled ceramic brake rotors, body-coloured carbon fibre front fenders, raised hood with window and floor panel and visible carbon fibre roof, roof bow, front splitter and rocker extensions.
